PREREQUISITES
Counties Included: An organization’s events and classes/workshops must take place in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole or Volusia county.
Event Genres Included: An event must fit into one or more of the following genres: Theatre, Dance, Music (classical, jazz and blues), Visual Arts, Museums (museums that fall within one of the other genres), Film (locally produced or shown at an independent venue), Heritage/Ethnic (events must fall within one of the other genres), Festivals (festivals must fall within one of the other genres), Literature/Poetry, or Kid-friendly (events must fall within one of the other genres).
Class/Workshop Genres Included: A Class/Workshop must fit into one or more of the following genres: Acting, Dance, Instrumental, Voice, Studio Art, Film/Video or Writing.
Fee: There is no inclusion fee for nonprofit organizations. For-profit organizations must pay for an Arts & Cultural Alliance membership in order to be included. Sign up for your membership online.
Lead Time: Listings must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start date. However, we recommend that events be submitted at least four weeks prior to the start date in order to get the maximum exposure. If we receive your event info less than two weeks in advance, we cannot guarantee that your event will be posted. All events are reviewed and, if accepted, posted on the site within two weeks.
EXCLUSIONS
Public Listings Only: All listings must be open to the public. Invitation/member-only events are not accepted.
Student Events: Student productions, both private and public, in grades K-12 are not accepted.
Galas/Fundraisers: Galas and Fundraisers are not accepted unless the arts or culture is the focus of the event.
